About your presenters
Jack Statza is a multi-stage, deep-tech investor who has backed more than 100 startups across AI, blockchain, fintech, and other frontier technologies. At Alumni Ventures, he writes first checks as early as Seed and supports founders through IPO, helping teams accelerate from prototype to scale.
Previously, Jack led AI, blockchain, and fintech investments at Allstate Ventures, the venture arm of Allstate Insurance. Earlier, he advised on M&A at Lazard and Livingstone, and began his career at the asset manager Northern Trust.
Jack holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BBA from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and he is a CFA charterholder.
CEO & Co-Founder of Haven
Cyrus Shirazi is the CEO of Haven, which is rebuilding accounting operations for founders, by founders. Haven simplifies taxes and financials with modern bookkeeping, tax services, tax credits, and more. Unlike traditional firms that take weeks to respond and fit you into their schedule, Haven creates dedicated Slack channels so clients get answers year-round. Monik Pamecha is the CEO & co-founder of Toma, which builds personalized AI voice agents for car dealerships, handling inbound calls, scheduling, and day-to-day operational tasks like a digital team member. Toma is YC-backed and raised a Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz in 2025.
CEO & Co-Founder of Patlytics
Paul Lee is the CEO & Co-Founder of Patlytics, an AI-powered patent analytics company. With a background in intellectual property and innovation strategy, he focuses on helping businesses unlock value from patent data. At Patlytics, Paul leads efforts to use AI to streamline patent research, enabling smarter, faster decisions in competitive markets.

Nico Laqua is the CEO & Co-Founder of Corgi, an AI insurance company working to build a full-stack carrier that automates underwriting, support, and claims. Corgi is a YC S24 company based in San Francisco. Before Corgi, Nico founded Basket, a gaming publisher with 200M+ MAU.
